Lunch tote for my husband

One more lunch tote after a long period of time. I've fallen in love with that polar bear design. The pattern is again from my beloved sew4home, and the tutorial is here. 

My husband liked it a lot. It's just perfect for his lunch box, has a small pocket in front, and closing on a Velcro.

The bag finishes at approximately 11" tall (excluding the handles) x 7" wide x 3" deep. The handle loops extend an additional 9" beyond the top edge.

Backpack with Crossover Pockets

My son (5 year old) has recently started key board musical classes, and instead of irritating alwaysmakingnoise plastic bag for books that he had to drag to musical school every time, I decided to make this comfortable backpack. Small puzzle ball

Thanks to my client I'll soon become a master of puzzle ball. This time it's two times smaller, only 5".

The previous one turned out to be very big for a small baby to play, so hope this one will become a good friend in exploring this world and obtaining necessary skills at the very beginning of life.

Special respect to baby's mother who chooses handmade developing toys for her child, coz there is always something special in such things, made with dedication and love.

Puzzle ball

Puzzle ball. Quite big one 9" for a small baby girl. I really enjoyed doing it. You can undo it in tree separate circles and then assemble together again.

In fact it has many names: Amish ball, Takane ball, Montessori ball etc.

Shark costume

The was a sea creature presentation at my son's school. So I decided to try my hands on that as well, taking into account that I have a wardrobe full of different unthinkable materials which are just waiting their time to be used for ages :))) 

Actually what I made are a mask and a fin, which I stitched to the shark t-shirt.

Fox outfit for a small girl

All started from buying a nice foxie dress for my daughter (1 year old) for attending a birthday party. I liked that dress a lot and decided to make it accomplished with some accessories.

So I made a foxie bag, hair clips and a broach.

The broach and clips are all from fusible beads.

Quilted grocery bag dispencer

Can't stop making different fabric storage baskets. These time it's a grocery bag dispenser. There are lots of tutorials in the Internet. I have chosen this one, but with some changes. Before that all such bags were stored in a bulky plastic bag hanging behind the door on the door knob, and making it difficult to open that door completely. Not to mention that there were a mass of different bags half of which were not used at all.

Now everything is organized!!!

Store and play - storage box and play mat

I was planning for a long time to make a play mat for my son, and couldn't finalize the project till I came across with this nice pattern on Etsy from CozyNestDesign. It seemed to be a great solution to my dilemma. Luckily I found nice fabric which suits to the idea of car play mat with ready roads and another necessary designs to play with cars.

So here how it came out.

This one made following the tutorial Clear Toy Storage Bags (with drawstring closure).

Very nice idea especially for small toys and constructors.

Summer hats

To be more precise one bonnet and one summer hat (bucket style).

Fabric basket for ironed clothes

I think it's only in India you can find special points (booths) where you can give your clothes for ironing. They are situated almost on every street. People there are ironing with heavy irons run on charcoals all day long.

I came up with the idea of a bag where you can see the number of clothes laid in layers. The top and bottom part of the bag are quilted. In the center the clear vinyl strip. At the back of it there is a transparent pocket for a slip of paper to write the total for the ironing services.

Size of the bag is approx 15 X 15,5 X 12 inches. Quite spacious!

And now.....rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrabbits!!!

This is a usually unusual order from my sister and mom. They are crazy about these rabbits, and making me crazy making all these image for them.

This time it is hoarse riders.

Rabbit Lola

The moment this rabbit was ready I was really not willing to send it to the client. So lovely it came out!!!

Her name is Lola. She is very cheerful girl with kind nature. And she loves flowers...look what a nice ikebana she has made for you

Mummy's necklace

One more naval necklace, this time made on order for mummy and her little daughter. The challenge was that the girl was not so small to learn the objects by grabbing and chewing them. She was too grown for such things, but she loves to play with her mummy's jewelry and accessories while travelling in the car. Seems it calms her down and she is peacefully falling asleep. Yeah and the most important thing  was that mom liked this naval topic.

As long as I'm not very keen on repeating items I've done before I made significant changes. 

Rabbits-Vets

The idea of rabbits vets came from my mother and sister. My rabbits there are the most popular gifts. People love them a lot. Every time I'm sending the parcel to Russia I'm putting these rabbits because it happens that every time somebody there has asked for a rabbit.

This time they asked me to make three rabbits vets. My sister wanted them for her colleagues at vet hospital.

"Dear colleagues! Today we are making a surgery to an ELEPHANT! Any suggestions?"

Initially I decided to make one for my husband who is caring his lunch box in a shabby plastic bag. But while browsing in the Internet I found so many nice ideas that decided to try multiple options. This one which I am presenting here is the one chosen by my husband others are ready but waiting for adding a final touch.
